1. What Musharik is
Musharik is a venue for introductions between independently verified parties. Our role ends when two members agree to exchange contact details. Everything after that (diligence, negotiation, documentation, and any transaction) happens directly between you and the other party.
2. What Musharik is not
Musharik is not a licensed securities broker, dealer, exchange, or investment advisor. We do not hold, transfer, or escrow anyone's funds. We do not give investment advice, and nothing on the platform, including the research profiles shown on listings, is a recommendation to invest.
Figures on a listing are supplied by the company itself. We verify that the company and its documents exist and are consistent; we do not audit them. Verify everything independently before you commit money.
3. Eligibility and verification
Membership is by application and manual review. You must be at least 18, act on your own behalf or with authority to bind the organisation you name, and provide accurate information and genuine documents.
Approval creates your account; until an application is approved you cannot sign in. We may decline an application without giving reasons, and we may re-verify a member at any time.
4. Anonymity and introductions
Listings are anonymous. Investors see sector, governorate and figures, never the company's identity. An investor may send a Request to Proceed; if the company accepts, that is consent to be introduced. Musharik then introduces the two members directly. Neither side's identity is ever displayed in the product or included in the emails we send.
Once Musharik has introduced you to another member, you must treat their identity and everything you learn through that introduction as confidential. You may use it only to evaluate and pursue that opportunity. You may not publish it, sell it, add it to a marketing list, or use it to approach the other party outside Musharik for an unrelated purpose.
5. Your obligations
- Keep your login credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, your organisation, your figures, or your documents.
- Do not attempt to identify an anonymous listing by any means other than a Request to Proceed.
- Do not scrape, automate, or otherwise extract listings or member data in bulk.
- Do not use Musharik to solicit for anything other than the funding relationship it exists for.
6. Documents you upload
Verification documents are stored in a private location and are readable only by Musharik's reviewers, through short-lived links. They are never shown to other members, and never attached to a listing. You confirm you are entitled to share each document you upload.
7. Fees
Applying, listing, and browsing are free. Any success fee is agreed in writing with the company before an introduction is charged for, and is disclosed on the platform before it applies. Musharik takes no fee from investors.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we believe is misrepresenting itself, or that puts other members at risk. You may close your own account at any time from your dashboard. Closing an account does not release either side from confidentiality over identities learned through an introduction.
9. Liability
Musharik is not a party to any agreement you reach with another member and is not liable for their conduct, their statements, or the outcome of any investment. To the extent Egyptian law permits, our liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
11. Changes
We will email members before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Musharik after that date means you accept the revised terms.
